Dr. Laurent Pellet, MD

Born in Lausanne, Switzerland, Laurent Pellet currently works as a plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon both in Lausanne and Montreux, where he collaborates with Prof. Phillip Blondeel. He is responsible for hand trauma management at the Clinique Longeraie, Lausanne as well as in charge of the microsurgical teaching and microsurgical breast reconstruction offered by the department of Plastic Surgery in Lausanne University Hospital.


After studying medicine at Lausanne University Medical School, Laurent Pellet was initially introduced to plastic surgery at the University of Hawaii in 1997. First trained in general surgery he later practiced as a junior staff member in Clinique Longeraie in Lausanne. In 2006 he started his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery in Lausanne.

Deciding to focus on microsurgical reconstruction of the breast, he followed his education with a one year fellowship in Gent University Hospital under the leadership of Prof. Phillip Blondeel.


Laurent Pellet obtained his swiss specialist degree (FMH) both in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and in general surgery. He is a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
